How to convert WEBP to JPG or PNG (free, no upload)
Many websites now serve images as WEBP. That's great for loading speed, but some apps, printers and upload forms still only accept JPG or PNG.
Open the toolStep by step
- Open the image tools and choose the Convert tab.
- Drop your .webp files onto the box or click it to choose them. Several files at once are fine.
- Under Save as, pick JPG for photos or PNG for logos, screenshots and images with transparent areas.
- If you picked JPG and the image has transparent parts, choose a color under Background for transparent areas (white is usual).
- Press Convert, then Save or Save all as ZIP.
Good to know
- JPG files are smaller; PNG keeps sharp edges and transparency.
- Quality 85 for JPG looks almost identical to the original while staying small.
- Animated WEBP files are saved as a single still image.
Is it safe?
Yes. The conversion happens in your browser, in a sealed area with no internet access. Your images are never uploaded.
