How to split a PDF or extract pages (free, no upload)
Only need pages 3 to 5 of a long report, or want every page as its own file? Splitting a PDF takes less than a minute.
Open the toolStep by step
- Open the PDF tools and choose the Split tab.
- Add your PDF file.
- Type the groups you want, separated by commas. For example 1~2, 3~5, 6 makes three files.
- Or press One page each for one file per page, or All pages to keep the whole document in one file.
- Press Split. One group downloads as a PDF; several groups download together in a ZIP file.
Good to know
- 7~ means page 7 to the end, and ~4 means pages 1 to 4.
- Open Show pages to see thumbnails and click a page to add it to the range.
- Output files are named after the original with the page numbers, so they are easy to find.
Is it safe?
Yes. The PDF is opened and split only inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and the file is gone when you close the page.
